Curriculum Staff and Other Info

The Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage as prescribed by the Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA).

The curriculum is divided into seven areas:
Prime Areas:
- Personal Social and Emotional Development
- Physical Development
- Communication and Language
Specific areas:
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Design

These are taught using a variety of different methods through a play based curriculum with lots of practical activities.
All children have individual plans to ensure they progress, in all areas of their learning. These are updated regularly by observing the child at play and in adult led activities.
